Here's how to help
When I fist saw that we had received a negative review, I personally felt betrayed. I wish the client had come forward, complained personally or asked what has been the issue first. It feels paradoxical though. Why would I feel anything but gratitude towards a client, who encouraged us to improve. But shock and betrayal, I suppose, is a normal reaction of every business owner on their negative reviews, who wants to succeed, who has just started to flourish and just had a small turnover.
The review was brutal, complained about the internet speed, which really is the most important part of the coworking space, together with a comfortable setup, of course.
However, the brutality led us to react instantly. We did appreciate the review immediately. It taught us responsibility and got us the opportunity to explain and set realistic expectations for potential clients. And, to prevent any further expectable errors in the service.
Sometime real world problems arise. The business has to react quickly and effectively and this is something that makes running even a small business complicated.
Thanks to our client’s feedback, we now have a perfect internet provider, with whom we have not experienced any lagging and a backup wireless router for the moments, when something unexpected really happens, but we have never had a complaint from our clients about our internet since.
Reviews make us better, help us bring more clients onboard. So, leave an honest review whenever you have time, for any business. It may be a very decisive moment for their improvement or success.
